Em and I made these fun, and super easy to make confetti-inspired cards.   I carved out (with an exacto knife) tiny geometric shapes from a stamp carving block...but these work really great too. For Em's "kid-friendly" stamps I cut out tiny shapes from a styrofoam take out container and used two-sided tape to adhere the shape onto a wooden peg.  Tape works great because you can easily

This year Em Jay loved dyeing eggs.  She had so much fun-- and sat for over an hour coloring her eggs. Who's having more fun...Em, or Daddy? Em discovered that if you paint eggs with tempera paint, then dip them in the dye it makes a very pretty marbled look. it's been quite awhile since I've done an art project with em jay. we finally spent some artsy time together. On Saturday one of my favorite boutiques SPLIT OBSESSION at Ala Moana held a MACHINE MACHINE trunk show.  It was sooo good!  It helped that I had a $60 gift certificate.  I ended up spending $100-- for all of this!!!!! I had the best time at this month's ART + FLEA held at Fresh Cafe in Honolulu. It's been awhile since I've done a real scrapbook layout...but I fell in love with kitschy digitals new calico dream kit. I printed the digital files on 8.5 x 11" matte photo paper.  I cut up the patchwork paper and turned them into paper flowers. ahhh...another lovely weekend has come and gone. the weekend started off with a friday night trip to target! on saturday we headed to the rubber stamp and scrapbook expo at the blaisdell.  here are my goods: lots of gem/rhinestone embellishments-- they were 20% off!  and super cute mindwave kawaii sticker packs. we also went to ala moana with the intent to have my car washed and detailed
