1.   The last movie I saw was: Super 8.  Super Awesome!  If you loved Goonies when you were a kid-- you will love this.

2.  I want to: get through this looong week...we're going to maui this weekend!

4.  The best accessory is: a smile. I like when people smile.

5.  My favorite warm drink is: hot chocolate.

6.  My favorite cold drink is: caffeine free diet pepsi

7.  Currently loving:  chicken laarb from bangkok chef. I've been thinking about it daily.

(the little things we do)

1.   This weekend I'm: taking em to go swimming with friends and bringing myself a floatation device this time.  no more getting out of the pool to get to the other end. ha!

2.  My last vacation was: the most wonderful trip to san francisco in january. 

3.  My next vacation will be: disneyland in september! along with a visit to seattle to spend time with em's aunty jen.

4.  My favorite way to relax is: with a few magazines, and the tv on (criminal minds, oddities, or lifetime movie network).

5.  When vacationing one should always:  check out what festivals, fairs or concerts are playing in the area while you're there.  and marc always asks store clerks about the best food in the area.  we've found some good things that way.

6.  When vacationing one should never:  be so serious, or hold expectations for what you think it will be like

7.  The best part about a vacation is: the feeling that there is no rush or time limits. no day to day stresses-- just freedom.

1.   I love:  being a mommy because: it's fun, it's challenging, it's rewarding, it's frustrating, and it opens you heart in so many ways.

2.  A time that mama knew best was: when I was little she told me, "you always have a choice".  Now I teach this in my accountability training class. "no matter what, you have a choice-- you can choose how you deal with a situation."  Are you waiting to "get happy or find happiness" or choosing to "be happy".  This gets you a long way in life.

3.  My first kiss went a little like this: is it bad that I don't remember?

4.  My celebrity crush is: hmmm. leonardo dicaprio, joseph gordon levitt

5.  My splurge of choice is: jeans!

6.  My biggest accomplishment is: I would say being a mom, but I don't think it's something you "accomplish" -- it's a work in progress.  maybe getting my LCSW liscensure- I'm pretty happy about that.

7.  My dance jam of choice is: if I hear this song in a club, I WILL dance.  guaranteed.

9. Rainbow Drive- in: My go to place for comfort food.  I always order a BBQ Cheeseburger, French Fries, and a side order of Rice with Gravy. And Marc always gets the Mix Plate with BBQ Meat, Mahimahi, and Boneless chicken with rice. Yum!

Since my car adapter thingy broke, I've been without my ipod in my car for a long time.  I finally bought a new adapter.  FINALLY.  I had resorted to listening to the CDs I happened to have in my car.  This included several CD mixes from 2006, Kidz Bop, and a Queen Rockabye CD...I missed my IPOD immensely!

Yay! Computer is up and running-- thank goodness.

fill in the blank friday...

1.   People always tell me I look like : this is really weird, but I have had several people tell me that I remind them of "Kelly" (Jennie Garth) from 90210. one of them was a 12 year old girl.  weird right?  an asian version, I guess.

2.  Friends don't let friends:  stop themselves from changing, growing, learning, and hoping.

3.  A sunny day is perfect for: A picnic in the park with my family.

4.  My favorite accessory is: my bueno bueno key necklace.  I wear it all the time.

5.  If I could afford it I would : work part-time.

6.  The cure for boredom is: to find a good book to get lost in.

7.  I am currently "in like" with:  sanrio jewelpet, and this etsy store.

This week with My So-Called Denver

1. If I had to use 3 words to describe why I am undoubtedly lazy they would be: television, magazines, and couch. ha!
2. Something that happened to me in life that initially seemed bad but turned out to be good was: my grandpa passing away when I was 18...which eventually inspired me to become a hospice social worker.
3. Something I inherited from my mom is: her need to explain her point. in detail. in many different ways. until someone (marc) says, "okay, I get it."  Also her "young" attitude toward life.  I remember our Christmas stockings one year when I was in high school.  She had put in this little balloon animal making kit.  She told us-- "you guys need some fun in your life!"  And you know what... I am close to 33 years old, and would still be really happy with a little balloon animal making kit!
4. Something I inherited from my dad is: his appreciation for anything amazing-- like really good music, noteable lyrics, or interesting history, art, or films...
5. My goal for this summer is to: get to the beach
6. The best thing about this week is that: it's almost over-- I need a weekend.
7. Something I couldn't give up if I tried is: soda, soda, SODA!!!!

FILL IN THE BLANK FRIDAY

1. I am looking forward to:  May 7th-- my payday!!!

2. Something kind of embarassing that I still love anyway is: Twilight.  The books, not the movies.

3. My favorite car is: A Camry-- I'm on my third.

4. If I could pick one type of weather to live with for the rest of my life it would be:  I'm kind of happy with the weather in Hawaii -- nothing too extreme.

5. My favorite thing to do after a bad/stressful day is:  Go for a walk with Em,  or watch Criminal Minds reruns, while reading magazines.

6. This weekend I will be: Hopefully spending some time cleaning!  My to-do list is super long.

2. magazines, a whole weekend of nothing, and take out from panda express make me terribly happy.

4. If I had the day off today: I would take Emily to the park for a picnic
